The cereal aisle of your nearest supermarket is the most confusing, over-the-top marketing ploy imaginable. The sheer number and abundance of cereals causes sensory overload - a sort of paralysis by analysis. Having a 4 year old walk down this sugar vortex is a recipe for disaster as they are twisted and turned in every direction trying to figure which cereal character will be their breakfast buddy for the next week or so.
